The Chamber has worked for over a year researching Acadiana's workforce issue and now offers a solution. In many instances, the workforce does not have the soft skills required for employment. Thus, Workforce Division volunteers developed a list of behavior traits for employment called "Success Skills.” A one page poster and a business card handout, listing these traits, have been designed and distributed to Acadiana's future employees through area high schools.

 

This common sense list has been endorsed by the Louisiana Workforce Commission and Chamber businesses as a leading example of workforce requirements.

 

Simply endorse these "Success Skills” as a requirement of employment for your company. Your business will stand with other Chamber investors in demanding a dependable, honest and drug-free workforce.
