An overwhelming number of members responding to the recent survey agreed that the Chamber should take a position on Parish President Joey Durel's 2010-2011 budget proposal to set aside $500,000 a year for ten years to purchase the "Horse Farm�.

Chamber On Hand for BeauSoleil Send Off

Chamber President Rob Guidry was in attendance as students and supporters of UL's BeauSoleil Home wished Team BeauSolesil well today. The early morning gathering was a send off as the team of architecture and engineering students climbed aboard a bus for the first leg of their journey to Washington D.C. The team is to compete in the 2009 International Solar Decathlon.
