Chamber serves as "opening act" for City-Parish President's town hall meetings
3/23/2010 1:59:51 PM
Chamber Vice-President of marketing and governmental relations, Bruce Conque, is providing an overview of the governmental consolidation issue at each of City-Parish President, Joey Durel's town hall meetings.

Conque is serving as a community resource to provide status reports and to set the stage for the audiences prior to Durel's open microphone program.

"Bruce is uniquely qualified to speak to the issue because of the extensive research he's done on the subject, and also as a result of his hands-on experience of six years on the City-Parish Council,” said Chamber President, Rob Guidry.

"It is critical that the public has as much information as possible so it can make deliberate decisions at the ballot box,” added Conque. "The Chamber is in the role of a convener and an honest broker.”
