Wingerter is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. Originally from Oklahoma, she resides in Lafayette with her husband, Troy and two sons, Holden and Aiden.
As the VP - Operations, Wingerter is responsible for maintaining of financial, personnel, legal and other records or documents, coordinating the budgeting and accounting processes, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. Under this position, she manages human resources activities or administers policies according to executive level direction. She serves under the President & Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, providing administrative services. In 2010 the position expanded to include the role as a liaison to the Entrepreneurism and Membership Services Divisions while maintaining an active role on the Finance Committee.
Wingerter also works as a liaison for the Chamber to the Leadership Institute of Acadiana, which is the parent organization for Leadership Lafayette, Lafayette Junior Leadership, and Leadership Alumni. She works closely with the Leadership Program Committee to organize the 10 monthly sessions and social events as well as serving as the point of contact for the members of the Leadership Lafayette Class and the Alumni with over 500 members.
In 2010, Wingerter graduated from the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) which is a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. August 4, 2010 marked the completion of a comprehensive course of study consisting of four annual one-week sessions focusing on professional growth and development as required by the Institute Board of Trustees.
