The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce has been named the Chamber of the Year by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives. This news comes in the wake of the Lafayette Chamber receiving its re-accreditation. A five-star rating came with the accreditation, the highest rating a chamber can receive. The combination of the two accolades means the Lafayette chamber ranks as one of the best in the nation. "That alone puts us at the top 1% of the 7,000 chambers in the United States. Combine that with the fact that we are now national chamber of the year and we're in very elite company," says Chamber President & CEO Rob Guidry. The chamber received the award at a ceremony in Los Angeles last week. |
