The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce was recently selected as the top chamber in the nation.

The "Chamber of the Year" Award was given by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.This news comes in the wake of the Lafayette Chamber receiving its re-accreditation. A five-star rating came with the accreditation, the highest rating a chamber can receive.The combination of the two accolades puts the Lafayette chamber up with the best in the nation.

"That alone puts us at the top one percent of the 7,000 chambers in the United States. Combine that with the fact that we are now national chamber of the year and we're in very elite company."

Chamber representatives were given the chamber of the year award at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
