The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the Acadiana Regional Alliance will present a forum on the state budget on Nov. 16.

"Money Talks" will be moderated by State Sen. Mike Michot, the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee.

Other panelists will include House Speaker Pro Tem Joel Robideaux, State Sen.-elect Page Cortez and State Rep. Rickey Hardy.

Among the topics that will be discussed are shrinking state revenues and the increasing cost of doing government.

Admission is $35 per individual or $250 for a reserved table for eight. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Lafayette, 1521 West Pinhook Road.
