Charter Commission Member Explains Thinking

Last night six out of nine members of the Lafayette Charter Commission voted on a proposal to be sent to voters that would call for local government to be governed by a separate city and parish chater. Currently we have consolidation in Lafayette.
Comission Member Bruce Conque spoke with Bernadette Lee and Ken Romero today about his "yes” vote and why he thinks five other members voted that way. |
