Free Computer Classes at South Regional and Milton Branch Libraries - Monday, May 23, 2011

The Lafayette Public Library is offering free computer classes beginning June 6th at the South Regional Branch. Electronic Resources Librarian Martin Cooperson will offer morning and afternoon classes in Basic Computing, Word Processing, Electronic Spreadsheets, and integrating Microsoft Word and Excel. Patrons may sign-up at the South Regional Library, 6101 Johnston St., in person beginning May 31st, at 9:00 am or they may register by phone by calling (337) 981-1028 beginning May 31st at 10:00 am.
Additionally, there will be free computer classes at the Milton Branch. The classes will be in Basic Internet, integrating Microsoft Word and Excel, and Online Safety. Patrons may sign up in person at the Milton Branch or over the phone by calling (337) 856-5261 beginning May 31st at 9:00 am.
The South Regional Library is located at 6101 Johnston Street; the Milton Branch is located on Highway 92 in the Cedar Village Shopping Center in Milton. |
