Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute - Tuesday, April 19, 2011
|
|
The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Louisiana Economic Development, the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE), the Louisiana Small Business Development Center and the Opportunity Machine at Lafayette Economic Development, will host an intense, fast-paced 3-day workshop for companies and organizations wanting to create, communicate, and commercialize new ideas to grow their business.
The Innovation Engineering Leadership Institute, presented by UL-Lafayette's Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Louisiana, will be held at the Cajundome Convention Center May 2-4, 2011. Over 250 leaders of Louisiana's innovative companies and organizations will be in attendance at this once-in-a-lifetime event. As one of only ten states to receive grant funding for this national conference, substantial registration discounts are available to Louisiana companies, non-profits, and university and government employees.
Self proclaimed Professional Inventor, Corporate Rebel & Small Business Advocate, Doug Hall, of Eureka! Ranch International will lead the workshop. As the former "Master Marketing Inventor” of Procter & Gamble, DATELINE NBC has described Hall as "an eccentric entrepreneur who just might have what we've all been looking for…the happy secret to success.”
The Chamber along with LITE and MEPOL, will host a free Innovation Social on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM with networking, appetizers, drinks and a presentation on the event, its creator and why companies should consider attending the conference. All are welcome to attend this informative social.
