LUS Fiber Launches Video Apps - Thursday, January 13, 2011
Through the city's only 100% fiber optic network LUS Fiber offers video to customers over an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platform. This highly advanced system allows LUS Fiber to offer customers new and innovative applications right over their TVs. And last week LUS Fiber launched its first video apps.

All digital video customers with LUS Fiber now receive up-to-the-minute news, weather and messages with a couple of clicks of the remote control (MENU > EXTRAS > APPS).

The new LUS Fiber applications include:

· News

o Information on local and national news available.

o Local news sources include KATC and KLFY.

o National news sources include Google, CNN and Fox News.

· Weather

o Quick look at current weather conditions.

o Three-day forecast provided at-a-glance.

o Weather information available for most cities in the U.S.

o Changes locations with an easy search by zip code.
