the705 recently hosted their second annual Dignitary Dine Around at Café Vermilionville. The dinner gave members of the705 an opportunity to dine and mingle with some of the area's most successful business men and women while establishing long lasting business connections and developing camaraderie amongst their peers.
The event's distinguished guests included Flo Meadows (Commercial Realtor, Coldwell Banker Pelican), Rusty Cloutier (President & CEO, MidSouth Bank), Todd Mouton (Co-Founder, Live in Louisiana), Scott A. Angelle (Louisiana Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources), Charles Goodson (Principal Owner, Charley G's), William H. Fenstermaker (Chairman & CEO, Fenstermaker & Associates), Judge Phyllis Keaty (Third Circuit Court of Appeals), Raymond Hebert (Executive Director, Community Foundation of Acadiana), and Mary Galyean (Communications Business Administrator, LUS Fiber).
The event was a huge success for both the members of the705 and the dignitaries who represented a variety of industries, backgrounds, and levels of community involvement. The dinner served as a catalyst for inspired conversation and has already led to new bonds between the members and their guests. Below is a response from one of the guests.
Thank you again for inviting me to participate in the Dignitary Dine Around
recently. Know that it was my honor to be able to participate. I am quite
impressed with this organization and its capacity. I want Community Foundation
of Acadiana to support you in any way we can go forward. Please let me know
how we can support your efforts and help you satisfy your objectives. Thanks for
your energy and passion. Keep up the good work.- Raymond Hebert
